Bandit got bitched at because of his brother, story below. For those who don't care, have a car!

Got bitched at by the parents because I told my brother the chisel he blacksmithed in his class was shit. (I'm a TA in his shop class and made a chisel a few years ago). The teacher even told him "Really [Bandit's Brother] this is shit. I expected better." Whatever happened to people taking pride in their work? To quote Ron Swanson "Don't half ass two things, full ass one thing."

Also, I got bitched at because I introduced my brother to a friend as "[bandit's friend] this is my moronic brother, moronic brother this is [bandit's friend]." Whatever happened to siblings dealing with another siblings remarks? In my day if people had differences we took stuff like a man, we didn't run to the nearest parental figure and whine about it. He tries to be all Mr. Macho Man, but is a wimp when anything bad happens to him. I swear there is a massive generational gap that formed in the three years age difference between my brother and I. People of America, grow a pair.

Random side note: some of my dislike towards my brother from the fact that he is the kind of person who takes selfies in the mirror and loves pop music (no offense opponauts if you do these things). There is no reason to take pictures of yourself in a mirror, there are front cameras on iPhones!

Cool. Im just interested in sibling dynamics. My best friend is the oldest of three brothers, so I see a lot of this kind of stuff. I was a younger brother, so my sister probably thought most of this stuff about me. But then I also have a younger brother. He's a moron sometimes.

It is! And I got a new radiator. Yay?! I've never heard of an aluminum radiator with plastic sides, it seems sketchy to me. I guess that's what I get when I buy the cheapest aftermarket aluminum radiator I can find.

Also, I'm always of the persuasion that being pleasant to everyone, family included, is always the best default, and giving people grief over and above is not worth it in the end.

Edit: Just saw your post script, and if he's being a jerk, then I am all for returning in kind. And the parents should be parenting thing is BS, I learned just as much from my older sibling that I'm thankful for.

Strange... news to me. I sadly bought some probably piece of crap Silla radiator. It is so thin (ad said 4 core) and it has a spare coolant port below the cap and overflow spout. The ad also said it was made for my model of car. Can you tell I know nothing about radiators?

I understand the whole sibling thing. It helps that since my sister's closest in age, we're not interested in similar things. I mean she likes cars too but not like I do. And she's into photography which I know nothing about.
